Barlo Motors (Clonmel & Thurles) Open 4Ball

The Barlo (Clonmel & Thurles) Open 4Ball was played on Saturday and Sunday and there was a good turnout of members and visitors in very poor weather conditions. Players leaving the course after playing on Saturday morning said that they had often played in warmer days in Winter. Leading the field after the first day’s play was Paddy Ryan and Tom O’Keeffe with a great score, considering the weather - they had played on Saturday morning in the worst of the conditions - but their ascension to the top step of the podium could not be confirmed as all of the Sunday results were not to hand.

The Club is grateful to Barlo Motors (Clonmel & Thurles)) for their continued sponsorship

The Paddy Murray & Donoghmore Cups Match-Play

The draw was made during last week for the Donoghmore Cup match-play rounds and this is now posted on the Notice Board. The draw is also on the Notice Board for the Paddy Murray Cup and the first round has already been extended to facilitate players who have not committed to the completion of their first-round matches. This is very unfair to other players and to the organising committee and the last thing they (the committee) want to do is to start tossing for results of matches not played on time so please - all players involved - do make the extra effort to complete your matches on time.
