Vale Oil Singles
The Vale Oil sponsored singles stableford competition was won by that young man, Daniel Foley and if you go back through this year’s results you’ll find Daniel’s name a few times so what a fantastic season he’s having and he’s still learning. On Saturday, playing off of 13 - down from 15 earlier on in the season - Daniel was out in a very impressive 38 shots, scoring a four pointer on the par 3 eight for an outward 22 points. He was very consistent on the back nine and even though he failed to score on the par 5 18th he still amassed 19 points for his 41 points winning total. Daniel is still a Junior Golfer - Junior Captain this year - and we’re sure to see a lot more of his ability in the future. In second place was Shane Fagan (7) who just scraped home on the Back 9 and likewise, Ned Lonergan just got into third on the Last 3
